Proposal · Madcap Labs

More of Madcap, without more on your plate.

Ed has been making music for Pokémon since 2013. There are years of stories behind that work, and an audience that wants to hear them. We'd take on the filming, editing, and daily running of social, with Karen staying close to the creative direction.

See the three options
The starting point

A plan before the first shoot.

You've already built an audience and a body of content. We'd start by looking through what you've made, what people respond to, and what you want Madcap to be known for as the audience grows.

Then we'd agree on the recurring formats, the visual style, and the first month's calendar. Your existing brand guidelines and templates give us a place to start, so the interviews, performance clips, and stills feel like they belong on the same feed.

The aim is to give existing fans more to connect with and make the music interesting to someone meeting Ed for the first time.

What we'd make

The music, and the people behind it.

A few repeatable formats would give us a steady supply of content while leaving room for whatever happens in the studio or on stage.

01

Ed at the piano

A familiar melody, the choice behind it, or a short demonstration of how a piece changes with a different chord. We'd bring the questions and shot list, then cut each session into short videos that work on their own.

02

Inside the studio

Interviews, work in progress you're ready to share, and the people who help make the music. We'd mix those videos with portraits and carousels so the feed has variety without needing a new shoot for every post.

03

Live performances that keep reaching people

We'd edit the footage you already have into performances, backstage moments, and stories worth revisiting. For upcoming events, we'd plan the coverage ahead of time and give each appearance more than a single recap.

04

Fan questions and music people can use

Comments can become the next interview question or piano demonstration. We'd also explore original sounds for Instagram and TikTok where rights permit, and test different openings and edits as we learn what people watch and share.

Your team

Direct access to the people making the work.

Jack would lead the account and local filming in San Francisco and Marin, with the Altitude team handling editing, design, and account support.

Our team's prior experience includes work with IPG Mediabrands agencies and live content for Tony Robbins. That experience is useful here: interviewing people who are used to performing, working around event schedules, and turning a lot of footage into something people want to watch.

Music and live performance are a big part of what interests us about Madcap. We'd bring ideas to the table and handle the work it takes to get them out.

Working together

You guide it. We keep it moving.

Karen stays involved in strategy and approvals. We own the production calendar and the work between an idea and a published post.

PLAN

A weekly check-in

A Thursday or Friday conversation to review ideas, upcoming performances, and what's ready to share. Slack or email keeps smaller decisions moving between calls.

MAKE

Filming that fits Ed's schedule

We arrive with interview questions and a shot list. Sessions can be batched into a focused four-to-five-hour block, with the schedule adjusted around Ed's availability and the content we need.

PUBLISH

Ready for your review

We handle the edits, graphics, captions, and platform packaging. You review the planned content in one place; we schedule and publish approved posts and manage routine replies.

LEARN

A clear monthly read

We'll track reach, watch time, engagement, and audience growth, then recommend what to repeat or change. Questions about bookings, rights, or sensitive topics come back to your team.

Three options

Choose the pace that fits.

Every option includes content planning, on-site filming and interviews, editing, copywriting, publishing, and account management for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, plus a weekly strategy call and monthly reporting.

A lighter schedule

Content + Filming

A consistent feed built around fewer shoots and a more planned posting schedule.

  • +Three to four posts a week, mixing new footage with your existing library
  • +Two local shoots a month, with questions and shot lists prepared ahead
  • +Short videos, stills, and carousels adapted for the appropriate platforms
  • +Comment and routine DM check-ins on post days
  • +Weekly planning and monthly recommendations

  • +Weekly strategy, monthly reporting, and ongoing tests of formats and openings
Our recommendation for handing off the day-to-day.
More coverage, more often

Daily Social + Events

For a busier calendar, with more filming, more reactive content, and support through event weekends.

$5,500per month
  • +Daily posting as the baseline, with additional posts for events and creative tests
  • +Normally two local shoots a week, with flexible additional coverage planned for busy periods
  • +Daily Stories and more room for timely fan responses, music news, and alternate edits
  • +Daily community check-ins, including weekends
  • +Additional local live-event coverage agreed ahead of each event
  • +Everything in Ongoing Social Management, with more frequent content testing
For periods when there's more happening and more to share.

Posting cadence means original content pieces adapted across the platforms where they fit, rather than a separate set for each account. Filming follows a shared calendar; we'll agree on extra production needs before committing to a busy event period.

These programs cover organic social and local content production. Paid media spend, campaign management, long-form YouTube, full concert or multicamera production, and travel are separate scopes we can discuss as needed.

Getting started

Let's map out the first month.

We'd begin with a strategy session, your brand materials, and a review of the footage you already have. Once we've agreed on the direction and first content plan, we'll book the filming and get the calendar moving.

We're looking forward to working with you and Ed. There's a lot here we'd enjoy making.
